anyone here listen to grime, what do yous think about it? i like grime alot but cant really think of a comparison to anything american but yeah i think its a sick area of hip hop alot of clever emcees, punchlines and some real nice beats his accent is too funny! guy has a sick sense of humor and delivery

grime has sort of gone commercial, but there's a lot of early shit that i think is dope. btw, could someone outside of England make grime or is grime strictly British/UK? like, can there be American grime?

ye i guess, these guys SBTV are making a shit ton of freestyle vids most are whack but a few are sick but they had this canadian one: and this guy is sick, gives me hope when you see relative no name emcees going hard as this and theres so many of them now in england seems a lot more people are rapping nowadays

Well Grime is basically just our version of Gangsta Rap man.lol Obviously its been commercialised so just like Dubstep...everyone's tryna jump on the band wagon. Its pretty much just street music, just like Gangsta rap or Hardcore Hip Hop. Anyone can make grime, because its relatively easy to listen to alot of it and emulate it. Just like Grime, Dubstep started on the streets of London, and that shits all over the world...
