i recently got a call from my people at Temple of Hiphop. apparently Nate's camp has kept it hush and so you haven't seen news about it, but he had another stroke and he is or was on life support. i think he's in stable condition though but just like Kool Herc, medical bills are hurting his pockets now. they are putting together a tribute album for both of them that will be a double disc and all proceeds will go to both artists to help them pay their bills. keep Nate in your thoughts RHHF, and i will keep everyone in the know so you can support. we are trying to break some records with this by promoting it in the streets and letting people know ahead of time in order to outsell commercial shit, so if you are down for hip hop and want to help out two of hip hop's most important figures, save up the mere $10 it will cost ($10 for a double disc with an all-star line-up!) and when it drops, cop it! i'll keep everyone updated with the release date when we find out.
also, PRODUCERS NEEDED! if you think you have the fire required, SEND BEATS TO MY EMAIL (CHECK MY SIG) AND I WILL SEND THEM TO MY TOHH PEOPLE AND YOU MAY GET SOMEONE LIKE PERCEE P, PLANET ASIA, OR EVEN SNOOP DOGG ON YOUR BEATS! if i think your beats are hot enough i'll send them to JB at Temple of Hiphop and we'll see if anything comes about! and if you are skeptical and don't actually believe i have that connect, just ask anyone here. i've hooked about 15 artists up with the TOHH connect, of which 5 have actually made contact and at least 3 are still working closely with the Temple and have since worked with people like Beretta 9.
