Still against argumentation? Well, I will answer the question, and since you attacked me, I feel that I got the right to strike back, before I answer. The fact that you think it's stupid of me to question that suggests that you think it's very obvious, leaving two extremes: Either it means that you're very narrow minded, because you aren't open to new ideas (meaning you listen to people who are just like you), OR you're extremely suggestible (you change your personality to whatever you listen to).
And to answer the question of why I would make such a stupid comment:
Sometimes it can be nice to know that you aren't the only one who's living in a pink world, covered in flowers, with unicorns jumping over numerous rainbows.
It also inspires expression, which is very important.
