I actually can't stand their hardcore style either, I can't stand Vinnie Paz especially, he always raps about the same thing every song, I'm still gonna check their album out in full though, one thing that might make their album better is their better beats

JMT has really really sick production, but i have to give it to Eminem, I can't stand the lyrics on JMT's album, most of it sounds corny to me, and yes I know SSLP has the corny song My Name Is, but every single verse on JMT's album sounds corny to me, most of the rhymes are just rhyming for the sake of rhyming, every song is just rapping about rapping and Vinnie Paz comes off as a real wigger to me when he uses that noi terminology. At least Eminem actually rapped about things other than rapping and he was far more lyrical than any of the verses on JMT's album. JMT only has better production, but my vote goes to SSLP
unfortunately this jmt album wins on overall votes, but only just

And I am Bacon. That is all you need to know about me.
Personally I prefer SSLP. I feel like I can listen to more of it all the way through and really enjoy it. There were parts on that album that made me rewind it and listen to one line over and over... The last part of the last verse on "As the world turns"... dope
Life's a bitch and I'm just along for the ride.

Jedi Mind Tricks - Violent by Design
I'll start off with the heavily stacked guess appearances featured on the record... and they deliver.: Chief Kamachi, Virtuoso, Esoteric, Mr. Lif , as well as familiar names as Tragedy Khadafi, Bahamadia, Planetary, Louis Logic and many more...
The production is unprecedented as Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind introduces unique sampling and mixing from Latin Salsa, Classical, Orchestrated instrumentation, and opera setting a unique sound for this group (like The RZA with Wu-Tang Clan). Most of Stoupe's best beats are from this album alone (if it wasn't for this album, I would have never been introduced to Bobby McFerrin & Yo-Yo Ma)
So many memorable tracks from this record: "Speech Cobras" (one of my personal favorites), "Heavenly Divine", "Genghis Khan", "The Deer Hunter", "War Ensemble", "I Against I" and just so many more...
The MCing is rich with Vinnie Paz (or Ikon the Hologram) and Jus Allah with the impactful, gritty horrorcore lyrics and intelligence ones I am still trying to decipher and understand!

Eminem - The Slim Shady LP
Uhh, in recent months I've been questioning myself as to whether is this is his greatest album and I am starting to have doubts on whether it is!
The guess appearance is almost Non-existent only Royce Da 5'9 , Dina Rae, & Dr. Dre
Too many skits for my taste!
While the record has glimpses of substance and storytelling, it falls short because of its lack luster production. Alot of tracks are forgettable when they shouldn't be: "If I Had", "Brain Damage", "Cum on Everybody" , "My Fault" (this song sucks), "Bad Meets Evil", and maybe "Role Model"
The lead singles were great for its time but now its just dated and annoying "Guilty Conscience" and "My Name Is" , in my opinion!
in most opinion, this album may be a Hip-hop classic just for the strong tracks on there: "As the World Turns" "I Just Don't Give a Fuck", "I Still Don't a Give", Bad Meets Evil" (MCing ability), "Rock Bottom", "97' Bonnie & Clyde", but in my opinion it is as memorable as his third release "The Marshall Matters LP" (which stands more of a chance against "Violent by Design")
To sum this up, I prefer Violent by Design. Violent by Design is almost the full package of a Hip-hop album for me!
