 i like anger and mic presence in my songs chino brings that shit way more than common does to me. old common is coo, but he gets real boring to me now. he still rhymes coo but when i listen to his shit i sometimes forget hes even there and almost fall asleep

What does that mean? That means Chino got better punchlines, not lyrics BUT its hard to compare them both. Common and Chino are completely different emcees. Common is concentrated on deep, soulful shit. He's a true hip-hop poet. Chino is concentrated mostly on braggadocio and some kind of hardcore. He's a true punchline emcee. Is that enough for you?

 Chino is a hardcore MC , Common is oriented towards Jazz/Soul Rap at least the old Common cause the new Common is completely sucks . People talk about Krs-One stepping on his own principles but at least Krs-One doesn't change his music this dude simply shits on his own principles for 12 feet . Listen to his old albums and listen to what hes doing now and yaal gonna understand
