i hate it when people rap in battles about how they fucked your bitch or some shit about dissing the other guys mother, that stuff is so old and played out. I wish people would just come with dope rhymes or punchlines etc instead.

I lost a lot of respect for Krs-One when i heard he had beef with the guy who wrote the book "Can't Stop Won't Stop: A Hip Hop History", just because he felt it didn't mention him enough, what a fag. The book didn't need to mention him that much coz it took more of a political view in the second half.

Quote (EmSeeD) I lost a lot of respect for Krs-One when i heard he had beef with the guy who wrote the book "Can't Stop Won't Stop: A Hip Hop History", just because he felt it didn't mention him enough, what a fag. The book didn't need to mention him that much coz it took more of a political view in the second half. you obviously misunderstood why KRS was mad. it had nothing to do with him not getting mentioned, that was media propaganda. what he was upset about was that Jeff Cho put him in the book and got historical facts wrong because he didn't bother to consult with him. he wouldn't have been mad, but that book is being hailed as the be-all-end-all true history of hip hop. he said that KRS-One started the "Stop The Violence Movement" after Scott La Rock was killed which was false. Scott La Rock and KRS started "Stop The Violence" before they blew up and Scott La Rock was actually a youth counselor or something to that effect. they were doing the "Stop The Violence Movement" together and if Cho would have taken time out to actually research then he would have made the correct claim. there were other facts that Cho got wrong as well, but that is the main one KRS was upset about.

Quote (Deadly-Sin) .....I get a feeling nobody likes bboying WRONG... the way i was introduced to hip hop culture was bboying....i am a bboy and i love it...with passion Quote (Deadly-Sin) i dont like bboying it seems too showboat-y which doesnt really fit hip hop culture IMO every one has there own opinions but.. bboying is everything hip hop...put into a physical form...its just like MCing or graff or DJing.. its just the way u choose to express yourself... maybe uve just come across the wrong experience on bboying and havent seen its true colors... but i kid u not...if u ask me... bboying is /I THINK/ still pure!! and not corrupt like MCing and the music side of this culture...
