Quote (eboyd) Why not? Dude, I'm not the type who is going to ridicule you. I'm asking this because I want to see what religious people really think. I've seen people say shit about the 4 omnis in books and also preachers talk about it, but I want to see if religious people actually agree with it. so what is this point you're going to make. i mean yeah i believe in it.

Pen, why the hell do you always assume I am coming at you sideways when not once have I come at you disrespectfully? If anything there has been instances where I should have felt disrespected by you but I didn't. Instead I just respectfully explained myself better. It's not really an argument actually at all. There has been a discussion in my class for weeks and the argument isn't on religion at all. The answers you came up with and just supposed I was going to use were completely wrong. The actual argument goes like this: If you believe that God pertains to the 4 omnis and you believe that people have free will, those concepts are contradictory because of omniscience and omnipotence. If God is omniscient then he already knows what you are going to do which would mean we are all predestined with every action we partake in. If he's omnipotent that means he has power over every action we partake in so we only have free will within his power. My question is, is that really even a powerful argument? Do religious folks really believe that we have free will? Or does God control everything we do? Omnisicence would imply that he would have to control everything we do, otherwise, how would he be able to know what we will do in the future at all times? Also, I feel that omnipresence implies that if God is omnipresent, woudn't that mean that he has to be everything as well? If he's found within every atom, every electron, every quark, etc., then he must be everything as well. Would I then be able to say God not only is within me, he is me? Not to say I am God, but that he is so great that he is me and everybody else. God, the universe and everything are all one substance, no? Help me here. I am trying to understand this. Now Pen, why do I have to prove that I am a respectful person every time I make a new comment? Have I not proven that I am never rude or disrespectful about my beliefs? Please don't underestimate my intelligence and respectfulness. I don't appreciate it. Thanks.

I am trying to understand this. maybe well i thought like God know's what we are going to do, but what we did was our own decision. eg. lets say God knew i was going to write this, but this does not mean God made me write this because this was my own decision. But God knew i was gonna make it.

So, let's say that "God" knew Obama would be elected president of the United States of America in the year 2009 A.D. That doesn't necessarily mean that "he" knew who all would submit their votes, and who for. But that the outcome would be as is.. No?

Respect, respect, respect....bla. As long as theres is no name calling (which really I don't even give a fuck about that, but I know it is pointless and antiproductive) then everything should be fine. Respect is an objective idea anyway.
We all know that each of our end is near; the question is do we accept the end of our living existence, or do we accept our existence as dead men...

No, laPen, that would negate god's omniscience. For him to be omniscient he would not only have to know what the outcome would be, but also what each individual voted, for if there was even one single thing he didn't know it would negate his omniscience or all knowing nature.

Quote (8Diagrams) He's a Nihilist, actually. And plus, you fucking fail for only just realizing this about him. I don't give a shit what you say in your own defense, I know for a fact that you are ignorant, and can't defend your own opinions with anything other than a random vid. Plus, you keep lying and saying that you're giving up on jacking off (which isn't even hard), and you keep failing.
