Palestine Peace Not Apartheid is a New York Times Best Seller written by Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the United States (1977–1981) and winner of the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize, and published by Simon and Schuster in November 2006. In this book Carter argues that "Israel's continued control and colonization of Palestinian land have been the primary obstacles to a comprehensive peace agreement in the Middle East.

Here, 900, read this. Jimmy Carter was one of the most morally sound presidents in US history but didn't do well because he spent most of his career fighting the extremely conservative congress and senate to get his bills passed and he was an inexperienced politician. This may clear some things up for you.
