how come your dad hates the UN?? LOL the UN is a puppet of the USA i mean the USA has a total free hand from the UN i mean even if a country or more uses their veto they don't take it into consideration

 Let me put it this way. The company Home depot bought out our old convenience store (K-Mart) when they went under. No one in the community wanted a Home Depot because it would've put our local hardware store (which has been there for 30+ years) out of business and brought numerous more illegals in search of work. They performed many shady tactics to try to open up in that location, but because our community has such a strong bond with it's people (my father being included in the "No Home Depot" movement), everyone and their mother got together and basically said to those corporate bastards "go fuck up someone else's community." My point is, my dad isn't a big supporter of commercialization, he is just a naïve conservative that doesn't see that Bush and co. are just pulling the wool over people's eyes. He's a Libertarian and he doesn't even know it biggrin Btw, speaking of Bush pulling wool over people's eyes, I LOVE the Daily Show and the Colbert Report!!!! biggrin

 well that doesn't have nothing to do whit the question i asked cause the UN is nothing more then a organization following a set of rules they aren't really an institution is just a world assembly following some rules and i might add that the UN charter is good in my opinion it needs some fixes but overall is pretty good

 It's the fact that the UN, though good in principle, is no more than an assembly of corrupt leaders easily swayed by outside interests, therefore seldomly accomplishing anything much like it's predecessor the League Of Nations, though slightly more effective.
