it ridiculous, coz all labels care about is the quick buck and they don't wanna take a chance on anything original, so the look at t-pain and say "well hey he's making a lot of money making shitty music with auto tune, okay from now on all our artists are gonna do exactly what everyone who makes money does". So these old bastard investors are telling artists how to sound so they can make their quick buck not giving a shit about the artist or hip hop or music, its just business. The investors should just leave it to the artist to make music they way they want to make music and stop being afraid of making an original move for once. The same thing is also happening with the drums now, when i heard the radio of some so called "hip hop n r&b" station all the songs all sounded the same, they're all using these tin sounding drums that sound like shit but i guess its coz they're making it for ringtones. chris brown, lil wayne, t-pain, akon plus a hundred people trying to be like them are all using the same shit and its destroying music coz that's all that they will play for money's sake. but eventually its gonna come back to haunt them, these artists copying each other will get old and tired and they're career will die and i think the underground will take over, esp with this recession and businesses going bankrupt, the music industry is selling less and less because of downloading and i think the underground and the independent record labels can use this to take over.
