You know how corperations shelve most of the albums that r "too lyrical", why dont some artist just leak the shit on thier websites like mypace etc... if they "do it for the love" of the people ....

Dude, you don't understand. The artist doesn't own the music he makes, the label does. If an artist were to leak his album and he got caught the label would sue him. Same scenario if an artist tries to post one of their songs on YouTube or MySpace without label permission. Let's say you are signed to UMG. If you make a song while under their contract and put one of your songs up (even if you made it before you signed by the rules of certain contracts) without asking permission first, it will get taken down and you run the risk of the label suing you. my new theme song

dre did help King T to release his shelved album. but a couple of the tracks were missing, sometimes the artist will leak it, man i wish Rakim or someone would leak his aftermath album. http://chirbit.com/emseed http://youtube.com/siwooot
sorta off topic: myspace music=epic fail. no one pays attention to that bullshit. limewire, playlist, youtube, and itunes is where its at. NO ONE buys shit offof myspace music. Its stupid. I mean, not once have is it even gone thru my mind to even LOOK at myspace music. Ever since myspace implenmented the new dashboard, apps, etc, its been all downhill. In my opinion myspace is virtually un-naviagable now that all this bullshits on it. Life's a bitch and I'm just along for the ride.
