you could get one of these that will directly attach to your pc w/o the need for a midi cable: http://www.guitarcenter.com/E-MU-Xm....2157.gc or you could get one of these, but you would need to buy a midi cable: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Pro-Audio.gc?src=usb+midi i get all of my stuff at guitar center. theres bound to be one near you.

i don't have it... but supposedly it lets you make and alter waveforms with your fingers, i heard you can make cool stuff when its hooked up to other stuff... u should def get a keyboard.... what programs do you use...? cuz that microkorg not be the best thing for controlling softsynths... I'm not sure though.... i just use a midi controller keyboard that has no onboard sound on it... lol it has a bunch of sliders, knobs, lcd screens 2 let me know what instrument im tweaking, etc. it even has drum pads on it.... i do like that microkorg... but i would use it as a secondary keyboard for what i'm doing... do you have any other equipment? what will you be hooking the korg into?
