Hey, tomorrow i get my studio monitors back,

Link to the monitors: http://www.totalsounds.co.uk/images/MonitorOneMk2.jpg

Now... When I make a beat in FL 8... it sounds perfect on my monitors... but when i safe it (on MP3) and listen it through normal speakers... mostly the snare has lower volume... the bass is too loud. Now of course I know that so I put bass volume around 50-60% volume... and the snare 200% (doubling it). Now the problem is... I got my pc speakers on my new computer so i can't listen through them on my old(studio) pc. My fear is that to upload beats on youtube which got too low sound on snares and an overrated bass! People would think i lost ''it''... sad

There has to be a normal way to listen it ''normally'' on my studio monitors? So i can trust the sound i can hear and not be suprised when people commenting: this is too loud etc etc...

Thanks

Perhaps you could check the bitrate you're saving to in MP3 format... the higher the better as far as i know... MP3 is a very lossy format.. But I usually can't tell the difference when i convert from wav to mp3... maybe save as wav file and then convert to MP3...

I have Studio monitors too... Mackie Tapco S8's and also a pair of S5's... They truly give an accurate sound... void of all the bass and treble enhancements that stereo sysstems and players come laden with already...

That's all i can really think of at the moment... You are saving directly to MP3 from FL8? And at what Bitrate? try saving as a different audio container like .wav.. see if that clears up the sound issue...

Also.. check the individual volumes for the sounds that were dropping out... the snares you said? maybe the volume panel had a recorded drop or something....
