 Can somebody tell me wat a loop i and how do I use it in a beat?

 a loop is a pre-made melody or rhythm...you just put the loop in the beat at the right tempo and there ya go you have your beat basically...me and NtG refer to it as cheating in the beat game although some producers do use them. LOL

 Loops are cool if you actually dig in the crates and find your own. Making beats from scratch and using chops are far more creative and looked at way better though.

 it's all about bpm... a good (free) program for accomplishing this is analog x tempo tapper...

i have bpm finders built in to most of my roland equipment tho...

I guess thats tru, but if ur just worried about makin heads knock like I am then thers nothin wrong wit loops... in other words dont hesitate on makin beats outta loops if it sounds good.

 Yeah loops can be alright as long as you really change it up and add to it. The more you add to it the more it becomes yours.

yea but the only thing I havent started doing yet is sampling
I want to get into that but first I wana get down making my own
