what makes me very pissed off is that my father tought me how to do beats and he glorified this beat ALOT...but then when i post it on here, yall bash it like its on some souljia boy marco polo type shit and i spend long ass weeks making atleast one beat. Then hearing people saying "your shit is repitive and annoying" makes me not wanna do beats or music in general ever again.Especailly hearing it from somebody who was done beats for couple years(NtG) telling me my shit "is the possibly the most annoying he ever heard" fucking makes me angry. i've only been doing beats on Fl Studio for about a month but only a few have any tolerance and say "your getting better", but a couple assholes here and there say "shit is fucking annoying" makes me wanna destroy all my music eqiupment in my studio and throw it away at a damn cremetorium. So what im saying right now is that to just kinda lay off abit if you dont like some of my beats, i've been only doing beats for a few months now. It's not like i've been doing this for years so dont talk massive shit about my beats,.

Chill man. I know how you feel. I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL. Its the same shit when I am spending months on end making a lp or spending weeks pen vectorizing an object or person, and then I finally show it on a graphics site, and I get a three word post saying something like "needs more depth." You can't let it get to you. Because if you do you will just end up in a block or a loss of interest in music production or in my case digital arts. I myself have just came back from a long time being lazy and not doing anything. Because I let it get to me. Just ignore them, you may not exactly know how to do so at the moment. But you got to overlook it, and reassure yourself that you will master this one day. Just don't give up thats the worse thing possible, and even though people like NtG say things like that. I know that they themselves wouldn't like to see you give up. Maybe they would but hopefully they don't.

would you have rather had me lie and say "dope dude, i like it"? and make you think that i like something that i actually dont? then you would be like "alright cool, they think this beat is good, so as long as i make beats that are at this level i will be respected." Im just telling you what i think about the beat so you can make progress on beat making, try not to make your beats repetitive. I listened to the beat and i heard the same 2 notes being played the whole time, it got very annoying after 20 seconds. peace.

There's not much he can get out of from "This is the most annoying shit ive ever heard". ur not even that good of a producer to even think of saying something like that. You were just trying to be an ass... Anyways, uncharted. Keep up the work no matter what anybody says. The most important thing is that ur enjoying the music u make. thats how u get better.

i thinking about this beat and maybe it could work if someone was rapping over it, eg listen to this beat, this beat is also repetitive but you can't tell because of mos def and talib kweli rapping over it, but imagine if there was no one rapping it might sound no more repetitive than uncharteds beat so it could work.

the reason my beats sound sooo repetitive is because i do mines in song format.I imagine if somebody were to rap over my beat. i might do 16 bars of the same pattern then do the chorus then do 2 more of the same 16 bar pattern. I just like doing that but im starting to think about shorting my beats into 1 16 bars pattern then do w/e i want with the beat.

Usually beats that are just made up of one loop have a very catchy melody.
