The main thing is getting your name out there both online and in the real world. Get participated with the scene in your city and start trying to build contacts. then also go ahead and go on different forums and start trying to show off your stuff. You can post your beats online to sell them at www.rocbattle.com/ or if you want to be more professional you can create your own website and distribute your music from there.
