Anyways, I'd say....

1. John Coltrane - Resolution
2. Miles Davis - So What
3. Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child
4. The Doors - Break on Through (To The Other Side)
5. Cat Stevens - Where do the Children Play
6. Herb Alpert - Tequila/Bittersweet Samba (I can't decide. Both are GREAT!)
7. Janet Jackson - Got 'Til It's Gone (has a rap from Q-Tip and is produced by J Dilla, but still not hip hop completely)
8. Blackstreet - No Diggity (again, has a Dre verse, but not completely hip hop)
9. Bel Biv Devoe - Poison
10. Credence Clearwater Revival... Man, just about any song by them is GREAT and can round out my top ten if not make it higher. I can't decide. One of the most consistent groups in the history of music. It's too bad how they got screwed so bad and that John Fogerty can't sing anymore. He's like the DOC of classic rock except his came after the height of his career and from cancer rather than a car accident.
