Jermaine is an emcee who does not take that moniker lightly. From the small, blue collar town of Trenton NJ, Jermaine is using that work ethic in his effort to solidify his place as one of the elite emcees of this, or any other era. A student of all genres of music, he has taken musical influence from Portishead, Stevie Wonder, Nneka, The Who, and The Roots, among many others. The result has been masterfully constructed lyrics, coupled with an electric stage presence with a booming but clear and concise delivery.

In a little over a year since hitting the open mic circuit, Jermaine has been tearing down many different stages in many different cities. Doing so has earned him the respect and admiration of many in the underground hip hop circuit. Earning featured performances in such legendary venues as The Trocadero, Bowery Poetry Club, The Arts Garage, and Nuyorican Poets Cafe among others, Jermaine has also shared the stage with staples of underground hip hop like Homeboy Sandman, Wise Intelligent, and Pseudo Slang just to name a few.
