‎'Verbal Affairs' taken from Cyclonious's new mixtape "Escape To Reality"

Cyclonious decided to provide the masses with a solid mixtape covering all ground, the result being Escape To Reality. His inspiration came from the title, wanting to make honest music that pulled no punches and told it at it is. Like a shot of truth serum, Tracks like 'Guard Your Grill' and 'Against The Beast' are examples of that unapologetic and infectious sound. Cyclonious' hip hop background includes producing and writing some of the most underrated UK hip hop.

Hieroglyphics - "Reputation" (Download)

The Legendary Hiero Crew Releases New Single In Conjunction With W.A.I.L. Collaboration

Bay-Area super group Hieroglyphics are back in a big way, releasing a new song "Reputation" in conjunction with a series of paintings inspired by the group from When Art Imitates Life (W.A.I.L.) - Hiero served as the guiding creative force behind the Hieroglyphics Legacy and Monument Series
paintings. From music to art to clothing collaborations, and more, the legendary Hiero crew has certainly earned quite a "Reputation," and the aptly named song celebrates the Hiero legacy. This no-frills track is all about the flow; synthy guitar riffs and bare bones beats leave the listener free to focus on the killer verses - these seasoned veterans need no embellishment. "Sorry that we kept you waiting... sort of like a test of patience/had to come up with the best arrangement," A-Plus tells fans, who definitely won't hold the group's absence against them with a new track out and their upcoming West Coast tour to look forward to.

DC The Midi Alien - Man Made Ways Featuring Vinnie Paz Slaine Sabac Red & Trademarc (New Music)

The group East Coast Avengers was created in 2008 by MCs Esoteric, trademarc and DJ/producer DC The MIDI Alien. Having dealt with almost 8 politically corrupt years of the Bush regime, the three banded together and the result was the controversial yet socially aware ‘Prison Planet’ album full of gritty production and razor sharp lyricism. The lead single and video, “Kill Bill O’Reilly” sparked a national outrage, getting the group’s visuals banned from myspace and youtube and even gaining them notoriety on Keith Olberman’s “Countdown” on MSNBC.

Fast forward a couple years and we have a new president in office, various ‘natural disasters’, chaos at the border and poverty and unemployment at alarming levels nationwide. Naturally the Avengers are called back into action. This time around they are armed with hip hop royalty from across the country. Joining the efforts of Esoteric and trademarc over DC’s matured, apocalyptic sonic onslaughts are Vinnie Paz, Slaine, Blaq Poet, Termanology, Big Shug, Jon Hope, REKS, Reef The Lost Cauze, Outerspace, Akir and many more.

East Coast Avengers Present: DC The MIDI Alien Avengers Airwaves will be available on 2-15-2011 (Brick Records).

Here is the LP's lead-single "Man Made Ways" from DC The MIDI Alien f/Vinnie Paz, Slaine, Sabac Red & trademarc:
