So my phone broke and my friend is letting me use their old iphone.
I think it is 2G or just a regular 3G.
Either way, can I get on the internet even if I'm not paying for internet on my phone plan currently, and if I have access to wi fi?

you cant use your sim card with an iphone. u have to get that shit activated when u buy it along with a contract. i believe u can get on the internet through wi fi but not through the 2g/3g network or whatever the fuck that bullshit is called. sick ass phone tho, what i use. u jail break the phone i believe so you can get apps and different hacks for free. shits worth bread if u jailbreak and put it on ebay

But I read they take Sim Cards? A kid in my spanish class bought one from a guy that was also on AT&T and it worked... Hmmm.
Either way can I still acsess internet from it with wi-fi/no sim card?
