A hipster is just supposed to be someone against mainstream appreciations for no reason other than to be cool. However I personally think hipsterism is promoted in mainstream hip hop now (new boys, soulja boy, lil wayne, etc...) so they aren't really going against mainstream.

DBZ and Death Note, the best? You people are crazy. DBZ is the most overrated anime. Being seconded by Death Note DBZ had a great story at the beginning (the two first saga's), but then it became extremely obvious. It was based on bad guy coming/train episodes/fight bad guy/Goku or Gohan kill bad guy/Goku dies/ END!. 60 episodes where based on that. 60 FUCKING EPISODES. Death Note was interesting, the first season. Not the best, it has his dead episodes, but an overall solid story. Then the ending fucked it all up, when they killed one the main characters, in the most stupid way existent (compared to the overthinked ways to die showed on the show). So, a series with 60 predictable episodes, and a series with a complete season that is pretty much based on a leftover, is not the best ever. And i make myself look more nerd than everybody in here...FUCK YES!

Is a natural reaction, you know, such an otaku as myself tends to react like that. BUT, don't get it twisted, i'm still a hip hop head, more than i'm an otaku.
I haven't found that much hip hop related posters (got a Boot Camp Clik one, and a Wu-Tang Clan one), so you'll find more anime related posters on my room than hip hop.
