"are you a nigga? You seem to like using that word casually" and the kid responded "well, I'm black, so yeah, I'm a nigga." The coach kicked him off the team

that kid sounded like a dumbass

My view has changed on it.
Since the black community has embraced it, (at least alot of it), it has gotton a positive meaning and a negative one.
Meaning that as long as black people dont let it get to them, the word has no power.
They flipped it.
It only has power if you let it.

most people don't understand black history that's why they let that word around Nas tried to transmit something whit naming his last album nigger but ultimately he didn't cause if he named it like that he would be a hypocrite and its stupid how we black people turned this word its stupid we are extorting ourselves you don't see Jews calling them selves Achtung Juden or Kikes but you see black people calling themselves niggas and we suffered to most from this

honestly the word should be treated like any other swear word, "bitch" "fucker" "asshole"... cuz that's what it is.... it's a swear word. I'm not saying the word isn't bad but I'm sayn its as bad as any of those other words. I kno that I wouldn't want someone who I just met to be calln me "fucker" just like I wouldn't want some kid I just met to be calln me "nigga" or "nigger".

livin life like some cheesy movie

it has become a term of endearment. i don't really care when black people call me cracker. sure, it isn't as bad because we didn't go through that shit, but really, who cares. just leave that shit alone.
