Just want to hear which ones yall love/hate and which ones actually have scared you.
A few of my favorites are:
The Thing
Lost Boys; who dont love this movie. if you dont like lost boys, aint nothing wrong with lost boys, theres something wrong wit yo monkey ass. great movie and was filmed near me in santa cruz.
Dawn of the Dead (original and remake)
Day of the Dead
Shaun of the dead
An american werewolf in london
Highly regarded as some of the greatest effects in cinema, and by far the greatest transformation.
Silver Bullet

Salems lot
30 Days of Night
Childs Play (borderline horror, more of a slasher)
Halloween; one of the greatest songs in a movie
The Shining (just because of J.N.'s performance)
Ones that have actually scared me:
Event Horizon; Dead Space the movie. Nuff' said
It; to me this movie overall sucked but pennywise gave me the worst kind of nightmares that i still occasionally have to this day. love to watch this for nostalgia and just tim curry's creep factor.

Also Monster Squad is cool.
Classic Universal Monsters are good as well; the creature from the black lagoon, dracula, frankenstein, the mummy, the invisible man, wolf-man etc. Really like Lon Chaney's old shit, heres a cool tribute to him

Before dracula this nigga was on screen
House of wax Vincent price is one of the greatest
i know monster movies aren't necessarily horror movies but after the bombs that dropped in japan this was something they made from the repercussions of those bombs so on some real thats scary shit
this movie is fucking bloody but what's funny is it was made by a couple of hippies
before Michael Myers this dude was killing girls on christmas
Crazy first scene shit had my heart beating like a muafucker
Jacobs ladder is probably one of my favourite movies ever
