1/1/2010 Happy New Year! congratulations and thanks to all the members for being active, help or any promoting that is also being done like on videos u upload on yt, other networks, putting the site links on yt accounts, posting threads, all etc..this is great news. we just got 1033 views in like 9 days all together from 70,000 to 71,033, i was keeping track of that since like christmas day when we reached 70,000.. weepahh keep on keeping on

apparently we were temporarily toward the top of the google search for "real hip hop" according to EmSeeD, but that seems to have changed as i was unable to find us on the first page today. that may be what boosted us.

our uCoz site shows up on page 6 of the google search and the godaddy address doesn't show up at all: http://www.google.com/#hl=en&....5611eed it's not good that all you see on our link is "Site managed by uCoz system" which is the link to go to the site. that's why we need to hurry up and get the paid site up.

if you type in Real Hip Hop Forever here it shows up on the main page and shows "real hip hop forever Main Page" and then the "site managed by ucoz" underneath, but for "real hip hop" it doesn't show the main page, just shows the "site managed by ucoz"

true the more its clicked the more it shows up, google is about putting the most popular out in front and they are in competion with all the other search engines as well..

alot of that comes from things we add and most from our main page, anything we add to the main page gets picked up through searches like that j dilla tribute i put up, siwoots releases linked on the main page, j dilla yauncy that was posted i posted in the threads, we just never know what people will search for but most of the time is current news, thats why i like to keep the front page updated as number one priority whenever i can or any member can add to the main page like upcoming releases, concerts, new videos ect...also images pop up in searches, any pics we add to the site especially the main page comes up in google image search like one time we had a 2pac article with his pic, we got alot of hits from that because people search alot of 2pac pics..and so on.
