 can you guys at least give a reason? i don't mean to interject my opinion too much here but i think it is important to consider that we are trying to promote the site and our movement and we can't do that if our mixtape goes under the radar. look at how most people promote their albums. they finish them months in advance of the release date and then spend that time promoting. we are cutting promotion time down even with the 18th. the 11th makes promotion impossible and promotion after the fact becomes much harder. people get excited when they are anticipating the music dropping. when it's already out there's no reason to be excited and the buzz is gone and so less people will check for it.
