i've been listening to tracks from this album for a while but i finally bought the full album yesterday, this album damn brilliant and will probably be one of my fave albums of all time now. Its full of mostly sweet relaxing type of beats and rhymes, i like the way Raw Poetic's style of rapping really does take you on a journey, he's not a super lyrical kind of emcee just an emcee that chooses to bring some poetic stories and some really heartfelt music. The album also has a story to it, it starts off with an old man in a forest who finds a chamber with a boy inside and goes on throughout the album. My fave songs from the album are Colorful Storms, The Great Escape, Limitless Pages, Freedom Theory, Screen Play Star Stories and Heartache. There is also a remix of the song Colorful Storms by Damu the Fudgemunk released on his free album Spare Time, which is also really dope, maybe slightly better then the version on this album but both versions are in my top 6 fave songs of all time. Yeah dope ass album! Panacea as i said on another reveiw of them will be one of the saviours of Hip Hop no doubt.
Everything they make is fresh. Crazy production and rhymes always on point!
I own 3 of there albums and "Ink Is My Drink' and 'The Scenic Route' does more for me than this one but still its dope.
Been meaning to buy 'A Mind On A Ship Through Time' havnt got around to it yet from what i heard its dope too! Also il write a review for Ink Is My Drink soon cause its so sick and has been criminally slept on for the last few years
and if you like this i would defo buy it next!
