As Eminem being my favorite rapper of all time (Its looking that way now), Marshall Mathers LP happens to be where he refined his style (lyric-wise and production-wise tho Eminem Show had his best beats) to where he became one of Hip Hops greatest MCs (Some may disagree)
But MMLP is definately a classic

Meth, how the fuck does Eminem Show have Em's best beats? That album was wack imo and the beats were a big reason why. SSLP >>> MMLP >>> Eminem Show = Relapse >>> Encore and that is going by beats as well imo.

MMLP is not even top 20 of this decade. Arguably a classic though.

I guess I just liked the production more on Eminem Show, if u ask me theyre really on the same level but Eminem Shows beats sounded more refined
SSLP had some dull beats "If I Had, 97 Bonnie & Clyde, My Fault, My Name Is"

Eminem produced many of those beats on Eminem Show himself. His production sucks. Dre or other underground producers produced the entirety of SSLP.

form the shit i heard from that album, most of the production was corny, even though i personally liked "till i collapse".

Uuuuuhh no Eminem produced SSLP along with the Bass Brothers and Dre only did like 2 or 3 songs
Eminem production USED to be average at least
Im not saying MMLP didnt have any good beats, they were dope trust
Criminal, The Way I Am, Remember Me, Marshal Mathers were some of the strongest beats on the album
but I liked Eminem Show beats better

Eminem has a Production team called F.B.T Productions, Eminem is actually part of it but since he's a big star he gets his name put aside from the rest of F.B.T even though they probably do just as much of the production. The majority of SSLP was produced by F.B.T and Eminem had a lot of control of what the beats sounded like. Dre did three tracks.

Relapse beats didnt sound like casual Dre, but they were still dope
Medicine Ball and Stay Wide Awake had the best beats from the album

oh wait yeah F.B.T are actually Marky and Jeff Bass (Bass Brothers) but they all used to be known as F.B.T

yeah it seemed like he was just going for some heavy bassy sound that sounded cool at first but to me it got boring
