solid rhymes, dope flows, nice guest appearances from Dres and The LOX, Best songs of the 6 songs for me were Sun Doobie and Put Some Money On It, they were good, not classic or anything but good songs. Royce murdered the fuck out of Put Some Money On It, vicious flow and dope punches, he had other songs where he used a more mainstream new era type of flow, not my taste but thats just me, i guess he's trying to get Slaughterhouse some mainstream appeal, i didn't like his verse on Back On The Scene though i thought it was kinda corny so one song he can be dope the next he'll switch it all up. Crooked I murdered the song Sun Doobieerybody Down which is just another "i'm the shit at rapping" song.
overall because its just an EP i give it a 70/100
Back On The Scene, solid opener, didn't really like royce verse on this one but still a good opener
Sun Doobie, Crooked I murdered it, sick beat from Mr Porter, funny as fuck tag line from the female voice. All emcee's came hard on this but crooked murdered it
Everybody Down, decent beat from Black Milk, the flow and style of this song sounds more mainstream, royce's style sounds like the new school southern delivery you hear, not really a style that i like but thats just my personal taste. its really another we're the shit song
Put some Money On It Remix, good song, all emcee's were good on this, its good for an EP. Royce delivery was fuckin viscious and he had some good punchlines too, his best verse on the EP.
Fight Club Remix, a remix of the bonus track on their first album. This beat is a lot better than the original, it still has the same lyrics but this is overall better imo.
Move On Remix, their first version of Move On is still my favourite song from Slaughterhouse and this version is really good too. what i really like about this song is what they're rapping about, they're rapping on some real subject matter not just "i'm the shit". This remix has a softer beat than the original and a pop chorus but it still sounds good, the chorus does get a bit cheesy after a while but it could still have potential as a single. i still like the original much better though
