Damu the Fudgemunk is one of the few producers right now still producing that classic underground sound, he's like a modern day Pete Rock
In 2009, Damu the Fudgemunk put out a short EP " called Kilawatt Vol. 1". It consisted of 7 tracks, Day by Day, Prosper which both featured Panacea's Raw Poetic on the mic and 5 instrumental tracks "Wonka beat"'s 1, 2 & 3 as well as instrumentals for Day by Day & Prosper.
Well in Feb of this year he put out "Kilawatt Vol. 1.5" a vinyl which added two new tracks to the project, "Hole Up"Steamline" both again featuring Panacea emcee Raw Poetic, it also has a K-Murdock remix for Day By Day and other versions of the instrumentals from Kilawatt Vol. 1.
I think this version really deserves a review and much recognition.
The tracks Streamline, Prosper & Day By Day are some of the best beats I've heard from Damu and thats saying something since all his beats are sick. Hole Up is also sick, it has the best lyrics from Raw Poetic, but the other beats I mentioned are better than the beat for this, but this is still a sick song. Streamline, Prosper & Day By Day are all modern day classics. The Wonka beats are also sick as fuck, Wonka Beat 2 being the best imo. Raw Poetic is one of my top 5 emcee's, I think he flows really well on all the beats he gets on and he really uses the tones of his voice well, changing up the tones and flows like melody's always making the art of rhyming new and interesting on the songs
With all of these songs together one on project this is how I'd rate it
Production: 90 Rapping: - Lyrics: 85 - Flow: 95 Overall: 90? idk someone work it out lol
Raw Poetic and Damu really really need to put out a full album together
Its best to just listen and see for yourselves here:

sweeeeeeeet
3 Snippets of new Raw Poetic tracks, 1st track produced by Damu, 2nd by K Brown & 3rd by K-Def who are all on Redefinitions Records
I guess Raw Poetic must be putting out a full album on that label so many of these tracks might be on that
this is gonna be awesome
Raw Poetic sounds kinda different on these snippets though, but I'm sure they're gonna come out sweet
