I find it hard when i join a group or forum and there is no where to introduce myself or how to just get started so thats what this thread is for. In the meantime i'd like to welcome any new members and welcome to real hip hop forever and feel free to post thread, post your videos, music etc.
Be sure to check out some tips in this thread on how to use this site, for example how to post videos, images, sigs, music in here and more. You can ask me or any of the other moderators at anytime. One more thing, don't forget to bookmark the site

true but i'm not talking about just youtube, videos are important and most are on youtube..well many of the underground i dont find in many other places but youtube, i owe alot to youtube for our group and so many great especially international hiphp artists that i would never have heard of if it wasnt for youtube and i wouldnt have met any of you if it wasn't for youtube, so here here youtube is the bomb lol is all i'm saying. its where we started and i'm gratefull, dont put it down or forget about it peoples  if you check the website statistics, many of our viewers come from youtube and googles search engines and images. we will go further with or without youtube but youtube is a part of rhhf, forever.

LadyChinita, Oh and as for sound quality diminishing when video files are added in standard quality, this is not a problem in HQ or HD...heres a RACIST VIDEO from DUBLIN, IRELAND. Delete this if you wish, I have made negative comments on this persons page & on the video comments, but perhaps freedom of speech is more important than censorship. I disagree with the sentiments in the video, but I defend this persons right to upload it. I asked Erik could we have a thread to discuss problem vids like this, but he did not respond. I sent this vid to my black friend & she flagged it. That annoyed me cos if its removed I will not be able to respond to it. 2 wrongs dont make a right. What do you guys think???

hip hop video didn't mean SHIT i still have my Jeru The Damaja tapes recorded from the radio that my aunt gave me i don't know if yaal remember but 30 people usually listened to one TAPE yes that's how business was in the 90's hip hop video is something good of course more hip hop propaganda if i might say but the basic is the music if the music is dying all this new tech is useless

that is besides the poinjt man. look, hip hop is recognized as a culture of peace by the UN!!! and guess what... all the elements are mentioned but not a single mention of hip hop video production. why??? because IT IS NOT RECOGNIZED BY ANYONE BUT YOU AS AN ELEMENT! but guess what, because this is a fully democratic website, and not in the sense of backwards American politicians who wrongly call themselves democrats, i will make a thread for you, not even mentioning your name so as to avoid bias, and ask the ENTIRE SITE if they feel we should add a Video Makers group to the site. i will, of course mention that our groups are based on the elements of hip hop but i won't even mention that video making is not an element. here's what i will write as a preamble to the thread. i will of course vote no as i have equal rights to do so as everyone else does, and i will even make you aware that i have the ability to erase votes and add votes but i promise not to tamper with the votes and to be sure that NO ONE on this site does fuck with the votes, no votes without a comment attached will have their vote count and anyone who tries to vote as a Watcher and their IP address is seen to be that of someone who has already voted will not have their additional vote count. here is what i will write: "it has been suggested that we should add an extra user group and that group shall be called "Video Makers." please vote whether or not you feel we should add this user group and COMMENT letting people know who you voted for or your vote WILL NOT COUNT. you may only vote once and if you vote under the same IP with a separate account or as a Watcher you WILL be caught and your vote will NOT count. if you would like to discuss why this would or would not be a good idea, please share your reasons in this thread. thank you very much." is that fair enough? i'm making it so that there can be no possible bias to my knowledge and since you are an anarchist, just as many of us here, it is only fair that the vote is final. so when -- and i say this because i am 90% positive that i already know what the voting will look like -- the idea of a "Video Maker" user group gets voted down, i ask that you drop the idea completely and do not hold any malice toward anyone because people voted you down. if you truly are that upset about it when you lose, go talk to hip hop's founding fathers and tell them that you feel that hip hop video production should be added to the list of elements that have been submitted to the UN in the "Hip Hop Declaration of Peace" (which was decided on by the entire hip hop community, not just a few supposed pioneers) that i will link below so you can read in it's entirety. the actual document: http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/7307/hiphopdeclarationofpeacon6.jpg the text of the document (read principle #1): http://www.wutang-corp.com/forum/blog.php?b=23 ^^^it says "and future elements" so do not twist this. this implies these are the so far recognized elements and others MAY BE recognized in the future. in other words, if you feel that video production should be added, you are more than willing to bring this issue up to the people who wrote this and have it amended and added to the list of elements, but the entire hip hop community would have to agree. now, on the basis that everyone here agrees to add it as a group, which is a slim chance, i will shut my mouth and pertain to exactly what i asked of you above upon losing the vote. does this sound completely fair? if it doesn't, explain why and i will try to tailor this to be more fair.

Just insert any of the hint tags below into the tags field of your video and voila! yt:crop=16:9 (zooms in on the 16:9 area, removes windowboxing)

ok wow just comeing through to check in while i'm cooking, maybe instead of that, you know what might be good is to change that friend one to "producers" group, beat producers, video production and any kind of producers would fall under that one category anyway, we have some beat makers in here that produce beats that are either under rappers, writers or bboys because we don't have a producers group, they'd fall under that instead or at least have that choice.
