Ditto everyone else. I'd point at the repetition of "storm" on line 4, maybe from an ocean of blood I was born. And the way "their privacy they'll will desecrate" is worded sounds out of place to me for some reason. That's the only critique I could offer which is to say I like it structurally. You've chosen your words well. Philosophically, what's your point? Two eyes blind but the third one can explore
Cos my third eye is the eye of the storm
I see the war in the rawest form
Ocean of blood in the storm
I see dead talents on the shore
Wasted breaths on the microphone
Translation: I'm a superbadassmofo. Better than the rest.
Of rappers and politics, they're now the same whore
Translation: Other people who write rhymes are getting into politics, and I think less of them for that decision.
Here's where my interpretive questions begin.
Empire falls along with people's faith
What "empire" and what does that have to do with religious beliefs? Which religion are you referring to?
Fire in their scars
Someone has been wounded it seems, but whom?
their privacy they'll will desecrate
What does this mean? I'm totally lost at this point.
Stuck in the mire, screaming to the stars with hate
Translation: These people are downtrodden and irrational.
Columbus came here to discover me
Oh!! I just got it! I think the speaker may be a Native American.
Self-proclaimed civilized people wrote my history
From Boston Tea Party to KKK poverty
And now the whole world follows me solemnly
What's my name? Say it, break the mystery[/i]
Got it. lol@me. Well, maybe my wondering thoughts and ignorance will entertain someone. I'll post this instead of deleting it. Now I know why "their privacy they'll will desecrate" was confusing. The word "their" refers to Native Americans while "they'll" refers to non Native American people. I was thinking that someone was desecrating their own privacy for some untold reason.
