I'm waiting to see what his new LP is going to sound like. His last two albums were out before he started to get this recent fame. His rapping personality reminds me of the Joker in some ways.

I don't understand, how did this guy get so popular all of a sudden? I mean that illmind of hopsin 5 video has blown up and this guy is on an independent label
also, I see his wikipedia page for his new album says it will have clams casino producing on it, when I think about it, it seems like every rapper clams casino works with is some rapper that blew up over night on the internet out of nowhere, Lil B, Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky and now Hopsin. Maybe I'm just late and the dudes been building up momentum, he does have a good image going for him
also, he really really sounds like Eminem in his 99 - 2000 days on that song as well

You are behind, he dissed a bunch of charting artists and got all the whiteboys going nutz because of his abbrasive style that they cannot pinpoint the inspiration from, masta ace and eminem.

Hopsin is a good rapper though got to give him credit for that
but man this guy really really REALLY sounds like Eminem, event he chorus on this song sounds just like an Eminem chorus

you're right Adam, he throws disses at a lot of guys, but everything he says about mainstream rappers is exactly what people online were saying, like Lupe pretending to be a skateboarder, lil wayne being wack etc. come to think of it, throwing disses at several mainstream artists in one song was something Eminem used to do when he was coming up

50 and Afroman did it too. Quite a common thing, though not so very many have taken it to this extent. Not sure if Afroman did it on the upcoming or when losing hype... And yeah, he sounds like Masta Ace and Eminem. Which reminds me of Masta Ace using Eminem's style one song on either Disp.art or Hot Summer. I think Eminem is quite a big influence on Masta Ace. Think the song where he went Slim Shady was on a song featuring someone who's connected to Eminem, and I'm pretty sure this was in the 2001 bit around when Eminem suddenly blew up. Afroman 50 Cent

i think its the other way around, eminem has said that masta ace was a big influence on him, he said every time he heard him hed want to start rapping. the only thing i find similar is the flow and story telling which masta ace was doing before em

Just because Masta Ace inspired Eminem it doesn't mean Eminem can't inspire Masta Ace... I don't wanna convince people anything. It's just a thought. Having reviewed his discography I realize that it's quite gradual and not all of the sudden like I made it out to be. But well, at least Eminem inspired him in one of his songs.
