of course it wont. this album has the man that made "beamer benz and bentley" featured on it "We took pride in intellect and skill Now you gotta have some sex appeal to get a record deal" - K-RINO
i heard lloyd banks album was better than his g-unit stuff, rick ross is on it too but doesn't bother me just as long as the music is good and honestly rick ross isn't that bad
"It definitely sounds like vintage Rae and Nas again," Rae told XXL magazine. Upon releasing his critically acclaimed Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Pt. II in 2009, the veteran emcee expressed his disappointment that Nas did not feature on the album, stating that he felt some rappers were too "busy in their own minds." However, the two seem to have gotten past the misunderstanding.
"I [saw] Nas [over]seas," Rae explained on how they linked up. "We had a show together and we talked about a lot of things. We went from A to Z [about] how we felt about things, what was going on at the time, and by the grace of God we was able to get this thing happening again. That was definitely one of the surprise things that I wanted to alert the fans with, just to let them know that my brother came up to air for me and I know though his busy schedule, guess, in the back of his mind he was like, 'Yo, I gotta come up for Rae.'"
Nas will join Lloyd Banks, Rick Ross, Black Thought and many more on Wu-Tang vs. Shaolin, which drops on Mar. 8.
the last banks album is wack as fuck. i actually liked quite a few songs from his first 2 albums and he put out some dope songs on mixtapes in 08 and has shown some good lyrical skill but that last album is garbage. "We took pride in intellect and skill Now you gotta have some sex appeal to get a record deal" - K-RINO
beat is arlight, rhymes are typical raekwon style, not feeling the chorus at all. i wasn't listening to ghostfaces verse too clearly but it sounded strange to me, sounded like a bunch of name dropping.
That song was wack! Not feeling the beat, and the chorus gave me back chills (not a good thing), and yes, Ghostface Killah just laid out a bunch of names.
Black Thought is actually the only featured artist I'm fully trusting to not make some weak shit on that album. I usually bob my head to Raheem, so I'm sure he'll make a better hook than what I just heard on "Rock N Roll". I rarely like Khalil's production, and there are better producers on other tracks, so I'm sure I'll hear something I like. :)
