 simple question do you pray? i notice even those who dont believe in god will sometimes pray in a major situation, not necessarily to a god but they seem to just need to talk to someone and are talking to anyone who will listen.

praying, in a sense, is actually similar to meditation in that it can have a calming effect over a person. it's sort of like in "Anger Management" where they breathe in and say "Guz Frabba" lol. it calms you down in a moment of frustration, anger, sadness, etc. it is effective in that sense. as for me, i only pray when i go to church or my football team prays. anyways, i'm moving this to "Religion".

Oh I never been to church in my life. I thought praying was basically talking about what you're grateful for in your life and what your future goals are. If that's what praying is then I do that.

haha well, i guess that's what it is for you, which is admirable, but praying is all about "speaking to God". i feel kind of bad because when i do it i know i'm just going through the motions lol but no one seems offended by that so it's w/e to me. it does bring me peace though so i have no prob doing it.
