Just like the political orientation thread, I am interested in everyone's status as a believer and non-believer. Let's try to keep this one limited to the definitions of our orientation and nothing else. Personally, I see myself fitting more into the Nihilist perspective. (Nihilist: n. a person who believes human existence has no objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value, in result emphasizing the breakdown of morality through purpose based logic)
We all know that each of our end is near; the question is do we accept the end of our living existence, or do we accept our existence as dead men...

Quote (Menace) i find nihilism to be counter productive to any society thats my opinion I agree, that's why I say I would best fit into it. That is not my full belief system. I simply employ much of its logic pertaining to the darkness, emptyness, and nothingness that becomes everything and also the breakdown of many moralities. In my opinion, every major philosophy has good points that are worth keeping.

Christian... p.s. being an agnostic isn't getting you anywhere.

"well yes Agnosticism makes more sense then any form of theism i rather be conscious to the unknown then label the unknown" OK....but let me put it this way: if you date a girl; no matter how long you date her, you'll never know what life will be like when you get married. If you keep on waiting, she'll marry someone else, or you'll both be dead. Also, what is your opinion on the fulfilled prophecies of the Bible?

Quote (sodr2) what is your opinion on the fulfilled prophecies of the Bible There's no such thing. We make it what we want to believe.
