I know almost everyone on here listens to underground. I listen to some, but they arent even that underground. Ras Kass (I learned to like him. Whoever posted Nature of the threat, I HATED it at first but now i love him) Deltron Lots of gangstarr thats really all. I want ot listen to underground and I just need a list of some sick artists. Like mostly I listen to music that was underground at one time. (Eminem-Infinite is a good example. it was BEFORE he was famous see?) I just feel weird because mostly I listen to oldies and im not sure if thats the same thing as what yall are doing. Like I appercaite underground, its just I dont think Ive found THAT artist that connects me to it really well you know? Like Tupac was THAT artist. I just connected with him. idk if anyone sees what i mean, I just really want to connect with underground but Ive only even really vibed to like 3 people which are Del ras and gangstarr (well thats a group but still) Anyone know what I mean>? I feel weird because half the time I have NO IDEA who you guys are talking about. Just make a sick list of good underground rappers. PLEASE?
Life's a bitch and I'm just along for the ride.

Try De La Soul 'Stakes Is High' classic album easy listening Added (19/Feb/09, 1:05 Am) --------------------------------------------- Or try Black Star self titled album if you havnt heard it yet (yes the two albums i have said aint really underground but its a good start for a hip hop collection)

Quote (t_nizzle53) Ras Kass (I learned to like him. Whoever posted Nature of the threat, I HATED it at first but now i love him) Yeah his shit grows on you. Have you heard his whole Soul On Ice album. It has the same feel as "Nature of the Threat." I fell in love with Brotha Lynch (24 Deep, Season Of The Siccness, Loaded, The Virus) and Mr. Mike (Wicked Ways, Rhapsody) for a while. Also try the old shit from Kam (Neva Again, Made In America) and Paris (Guerrilla Funk). I can tell you're into westcoast shit. Check out CMW (primarily MC Eiht )(Straight Checkin'em, Music To Drive By) and MC Ren (Shock Of The Hour, Villian In Black) or Spice 1 (Spice 1, 187 He Wrote). Or even Dj Quik, or Kokane, (Addictive Hip Hop Muzick) . They're not really that underground but might as well be for being so overshadowed. But that's all gangsta and hardcore hip hop. If you want westcoast alternative or jazzy shit take J-Breaks advice above ^.
