if even our favorite underground goes mainstream as long as they keep it real. we do have some good.

Exactly that's my whole point that's why I don't get some people when they say they hate mainstream, just like all underground artists don't keep it real people just assume they do because they underground you do know you have some people that use the underground to make a come up right?

hate mainstream

its because most not all but many artist that hit mainstream don't keep it real anymore. i understand perfectly why they say they hate commercial. its also like an expression. they say commercial rap instead of calling each one by name becaue most commcercial rap don't keep it real and don't represent or give a dam about the culture.

i unno it really doesn't matter what they like is what they like i never called a person fake cause they liked mainstream hip hop they are not lower then us or higher they just regular music is music remember that not everyone has same tastes

no to each is own, they might not know the difference much anyway between hip hop and rap. i have friends that listen to both and they aren't fake, they just don't understand the hip hop culture. this is not about taste and about music being music, its about the culture thats all. but its all good and people could listen to what they want and media blinds many. no one is to blame why our children are listening to things like soulja boy, supersoak and music degradeing woman and all about drugs or sex. its the media controlling this.
