in this case what i mean by break beat is breakers beat, breakdancers beat, bboys, breaker boys, beat thrown into the mix for breakdancers, we use it in the breakdance community and a way to describe a bboy that would do a break meaning a dreakdance move, i forget i'm in 2009 lol we use to call any song used to breakdance a break beat, short for breakers music and still used today meaning two different things, i thought of starting a different thread for bboy break beats but i think in here is fine, i'll think about it. yea and grandmaster flash and most dj's back then just mix 2 records of the same song like these beats after the other going back and forth with those breaks and we bboy/bgirls used it for break dancing in the block parties, house parties, beach parties and centers...then we started calling them break beats meaning breakers beats, also know as electro funk but no one knows what electro funk is these days but my bad, i should have said electro funk breakdancin beats, i forget these days break beats might have a bit of a different meaning..
