anyone ever have to let someone know that their dumb ass is not saying the same thing as the rapper? or better yet catch someone bumping some music that they really don't understand?
the main question is:
what are some lyrics you misinterpretated? what are some lyrics you don't understand? or think you understand but are generally unsure? only misinterpretation that was fucked up for me was jayo felony - loc is on his own, when i first heard it and i was young i used to think he was saying "moms a stripper she got a block on the phone" until my friend booked my retardedness and pointed out that he says "moms is tripping" which makes way more sense. but he quickly buried himself at a later time when he thought Debo's name from Friday was Zebo. LMFAO now that i'm older i don't find i misinterpret much music anymore but one song i've never been to sure on is PLO style. chorus is "PLO Style buddha monks with the owls" PLO Style = Palestine Liberation Organization Style = Terrorist style
Buddha = weed
Monk = religion
so buddha monk is either someone with the weed or someone who's religion is smokin weed
Owls = white owl cigars for blunts for all i know i got the whole damn thing wrong but all the slang makes sense like that to me.

haha on some blu & exile song i remember seeing some kid posted "fastest biggie with no pun intended!! this is song so good" something like that but the actual line is like fat as biggie with no pun intended, made me laugh i also thought rakim said premo mixed with mad dick but aparently its mixed with ma-gic

For turnin ?area centers? to wilers, you get the picture? i see it done this way but that makes no sense. i think it may be Aryan sinners but that sounds a bit odd too. anyone else think they know it? also, they always fuck up on this line: Rakim is, the minist', with malice, Militia ^^^^ isn't it obvious that is really menace?
