well i think he was on the borderline, he was underground coz he didn't get much radio play i think, and he did keep it real but i think he could have turned mainstream like fat joe and cam'ron did.

yeah i think he would have, even jay-z and cam'ron were on his albums and they ended up going commercial. he even collabed with fat joe before fat joe went commercial so i think he might have gone in the same direction as them.

he was in the DITC crew whit Fat Joe and the others i mean some from DITC gone mainstreem and sold out as Joe and others remained real as O.C. or Lord Finesse i think Big L would go whit Joe on this one if he lived tough he still revolutionized hip hop

he was, in his time, basically the equivalent of Cassidy or Papoose, but lyrically superior by a bit. maybe Saigon would be a better comparison.
