i agree and disgree with this. while there's a lot of annoying Dilla dickridery, he was definitely one of the greatest producers of all time. the way he flipped samples was simply brilliant and complex. it is just utterly astounding and, most of all, unique.

AGREED! though my fav Dilla beat is "Lightworks," but #2 is "The Rhyme (Jay Dee Remix)" by Keith Murray and i'd have to put "Won't Do" at a VERY close third, with "Got Till It's Gone" (Janet Jackson) at an also close fourth and "Runnin'" fifth.

i agree..sort of...

all tho dilla is on my top list of producers...and he was extremly dope...

i dont label anyone as a god...all producers in the game have all made hip hop what it is today...
not just one person...

dont get me wrong tho...dilla was helllllllaaa sick ...

i just think ppl jump on the bandwagon wit dilla cuz he passed to another world...

cuz b 4 when he was here on this earth with us...ppl were just lettin him passs by like he was just another producer in the game ....but once he passed everyyyoneee was ohh dilla is the greatest...
