Your looking at it TOOOO deep Menace, I wasnt trying to get that far into the grand scheme of things
The point I was trying to get across was a connection with the artist, it doesnt even have to be mainstream
I mean HIP HOP in general, most people like it cuz they can relate to the songs (not just commercial)
try to see that Im not saying just commercial rap

Word.... I think meance needs to chill sometimes. Fuck economics. What isnt a bussiness? Its music. You like some of it, you hate some of it. Who has the money and who doesent have the money in the bussiness isnt going to change things.

honestly I challenge that because. most rap songs folks like. are the ones about how much money they have, hoes (no offense to any female members) cars, what is on and in their cars, etc. so most people can't relate to that. but its what they like. people go to music mostly for a beat. and then the lyrics. if the lyrics suck but beat is nice, folks will still listen. no one understands reggae. but its the shit. why makes you move. nice beats. sounds good. if it sounds good its good. but that isnt always the case.
