i still think most of these cats using the "hipster" style that just happen to rap as well are pretty fucking wack though. some are dope, and i have a guilty pleasure in that song "Day & Night" by Kid Cudi, but Charles Hamilton, Asher Roth, etc., are all wack imo while the people who started the whole hipster thing like Lupe and Common used to be dope before hipsterdom (yes, hipsterdom  ) became a trend but now they've fallen into the trap. also, Kanye is dope with the beats. his newest material has been GARBAGE though. everything after "Late Registration" has been wack. in other words, "Graduation" and "808's & Heartbreak" are steaming piles of poo.

howr the beats in graduation bad? they might of been overplayd but they r still dope as hell n more well done than day n nite, even tho i do like that song. Also Lupe has always been considered hipster. also charles hamilton is pretty talentd, have u heard the dude freestyle?

i wouldnt say graduation is shit the beats were great on that album despite stronger.Cant tell me nothing was overplayed but still good.The lyrics weren't as good but very mediocre, that was the only downside of the album IMO
