what i dont like about premo is his collabs always seem obvious

how are his collabs obvious? you can say that about anyone

[sarcasm]"oh J-Dilla doing a song for Common that's so obvious i don't like him now"[/ sarcasm]

and don't forget that Dilla collabed with Phat Kat and several other wack Detroit cats consistently as well so to say Prem is the only person who consistently did predictable collabs is absurd. sure, he had 1,000 tracks with Nas, Jay, Biggie, etc., back in the day and now he consistently collabs with Term, Blaq Poet, Reks, etc., but both Dilla and Lib do the same. Dilla, like i said, with Phat Kat, Frank & Dank, etc., and Madlib with Wildchild, MED, etc.

the link says not in my country lol lol

yeha i know but dilla repped the D, but i mean dilla especialy theres eryka bahdu (however you spell it-she needs to change her fucking name!) amp fiddler, roots, pharcyde, busta - artists from all over too. the reason i say premo is predictable is because he often works with names that are already established, doesnt take too many chances on the music. and yeah while premos beats sound timeless imo they often feel like they lack "soul"

and cold steel is greezy as hell, phat kat is the whackest rapper youve never heard of but that song goes hard

Prem put Termanology, Reks, Big Shug, Freddie Foxxx, Jeru, Afu Ra, Group Home, etc. on. they weren't established before Prem said "yo, get on my beats." is it his fault he made half of them into big name artists? and they aren't even that big named. compared to someone like Common or Nas or Jay-Z none of these cats are much of anything.
