A Day in the Life is an all Hip Hop Musical that I feel was done rather well. It's not stunning but a fairly entertaining movie for any hip hop fan. The movie is about 2 crime families feud that is close to boiling over. The main character has to pick between his boys and his girl who just became pregnant. Everyone but the extras do a fantastic job story telling in the movie through hip hop, and feel no one did it better in this film than Omar Epps and Mekhi Phifer. They both did real good and wouldn't mind hearing more of them. It was like watching a concept album. The only gripe I have with the film are the love scenes which are incredibly corny and hard to stomach. Below is a trailer and list of some of the talent in the flick. Trailer Cast Sticky Fingaz Mekhi Phifer Omar Epps Faizon Love Michael Rapaport Fredro Starr Michael K. Williams (Omar from the Wire) Bokeem Woodbine Ray J Treach Tyrin Turner (Caine from Menace II Society) Troy Garity (White dude from Barbershop, Sunshine) Hassan Johnson (Wee-Bee from the Wire) Kurupt Clarence Williams III (one of the greatest cats in acting, legend and super talented IMO) Lil' Zane Malinda Williams (chick from the woods)

Yeah like this reminds me of some stuff you'd see in Grand Theft Auto.. Gang Members with Rocket Launchers and Hummers like that and military grade weapons!?!? REALLY?!
Life's a bitch and I'm just along for the ride.

Quote (J-Breakz) If you have the connections u can buy military grade weapons on the black market. but i mean on the news and shit you normally hear about the police finding a bunch of pistols and maybe like a SMG or something. on the other hand, the news is run by white people in the burbs... What bussiness do they have reporting on shootings that aren't even in their area? I mean the news usually isn't reliable.
