I googled the book, and gza was talking about the "inventor" of chess and you can prolly find it in any book store. thats allegedly what dude said to the actual king and ended up taking all his shit. lol Added (28/Jan/10, 3:14 Pm) --------------------------------------------- mor about the story gza was talkin about http://www.jimloy.com/puzz/wheat.htm

Thought I'd be the only one to actually give HipHopHead a rep for this but as it turned out the whole site had visited his rep and upped it already. This was an incredible interview though, thanks for that. I used to look at a bunch of interviews/videos etc. but I haven't done it for awhile, wish I would have posted it all on here so I could remember where they were from.

Don't feel like it. But he isn't underrated. Maybe in the mainstream, but thats mostly because they don't know him. So you can't count them as underrating gza.

Quote (Adam) Wow ^. Nas is goat and is way more lyrically intense than gza. lol i had a feeling that you would disagree, thats why i added IMO in caps. i prefer GZAs relentless style as opposed to Nas "flowery" wordplay. Its like say Bruce Lee's efficiency vs the unnecessary movement in traditional kung-fu styles, they both achieve brutal injury/death to the opponent yet Bruce Lee's efficiency achieved death with minumum effort. Nas is good i agree with you, but how could you say GZA isnt lyrically intense, his metaphors are superdope. Its easy enough for a Nas fanboy to say.

Nas wins this hands down lol this shirt says it all
