So I'm creating a Hip-Hop playlist for someone who's into Electro/Pop/Rap/Rock (I don't know what he means by rap) and I was wondering which tracks you would add? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v....ynext=1 This is what I've got so far.. I added some Dr. Dre in there and some Snoop Dogg mainly because I figured it would be more appealing but I also added some Das Efx, Meth & Red, Lords of the Underground, Tupac (I would add a million Tupac tracks but I don't know what he's into yet..) Any suggestions? I would add some Wu in there but I think that may be a bit too raw for someone who's not into Hip Hop.

Quote (Adam) Wu tupac meth and red dr. dre snoop????? man you should show the real diamonds that people don't know already. Some cunninlynguists, souls of mischief, and stuff like that. You have to dig around a fair bit to find much of any of these artists I mentioned nowadays and I can tell you for sure that he's not familiar with any of them. Well, maybe Dr. Dre but the rest, I don't think so. Thanks for the replies by the way, I'll probably finish this later today.. and yeah I should add some Common, Talib, Mos Def, Slick Rick, ATCQ, Nas etc. And C.R.E.A.M might actually be a good Wu-Tang track to start with, there's also a few on Forever which didn't have the same raw 36 Chambers sound but were still dope. Quote (LadyChinita) some Pete Rock & C. L. Smooth, even people that i know who don't listen to much hip hop love eric b & rakim, slick rick, de la soul Ahh, that's a good idea.. Which reminds me I should definitely add this:

Quote (TheWatcher) I would add some Wu in there but I think that may be a bit too raw for someone who's not into Hip Hop. If you want my opinion, give them the raw hip hop and cut the cheesy appealing stuff. Still DRE? Da Countdown? 2PAC? No... Throw in some Main Source or Digable Planets.
