Illmatic was definitely better than MMLP and SSLP for that matter, and SSLP is my fav Em album. They are both comparable though. I'll put the albums in from both order here: Illmatic SSLP MMLP IWW Stillmatic (I haven't heard God's Son or Street's Disciple but I'd assume they'd probably fit here) HHID Eminem Show/I Am... Relapse Untitled Nastradamus Encore

Quote (ThaScience) brenda... etc those songs.. yh nas got the same if not btr. Smh.. well that's your opinion I guess. "He was the dopest muthafucka I ever heard" - Nas on Tupac. Nas compared Tupac to Marvin Gaye / Shakespear. Then again, your favorite rapper's favorite rapper doesn't have to be yours.

I loved "Heaven" from God's Son. Quote (Lord_Meth) God's Son do but Street's Disciple is below Relapse and Untitled. It wouldn't be that horrible if SD had 1 CD. But now... its a GARBAGE!!!

Quote (ThaScience) just 2 videos, check em out!!! the "Message to the Feds" had a decent beat, but Nas made it dope with his lyrics and delivery, but the other one was annoying lol. just being honest. it sounded like Nas rapping over a World of Warcraft beat Quote (El_Matador) Yes. lol People avoid that album, it's like Eazy-E blood samples. Quote (SnoopG79) "Ready To Die" > "Illmatic" Straight like that. damn, it's been like 11 or 12 years since i listened to that album lol. i'll have to check it out again.

LOL I dont listen to it often but I decided to listen to "Ready to Die" earlier this week & I forgot my damn self how dope that album was. More songs than "Illmatic" while still having great quality IMO. Just thought I'd say its better since they're better albums to compare when both came out the same year.
Only god can judge me.
