exactly, thank u for understanding..corporate gets enough shine, nothing wrong with people listening to what they like but u can go to any website and all u see is kanye west, lil wayne or lil somethings all over it..underground artists get no shine and there are good ones although there are also wack ones to lol..we are a culture against corporate america pretty much lol we try to support more the ones that stick to the essence of hip hop, keep it more authentic, that do it for the culture, to spread truth or truly respect the art, that live hip hop " heart n soul" respect the history, take time to learn the true knowledge..not just greed, money, fame or the corporations who exploit the culture at the expense of the youth's state of mind and not for the love of self. u have some that are mainstream that stick to the roots of why they started in the first place like talib, mos def ect..which i call mainstream hip hop but the others, i call corporate rap with the auto tune stuff..

so its not about who stinks or whos wack, we have many wack in the underground.its not about them making money, we all need money..not that all are bad or stink but most, not all corporate rappers stink but do it for another reason. its not all about just the music but also their lifestyle and even if u can put them in the hip-hop genre, some are not in it to represent the movement. if a corporate rapper puts out a good message in his music, its cool..enjoy it but yet in the end he's still controled by the corporate world and usally alienates the hip hop culture in their work.

why? man wtf.. i want this to be about the music not their status as an artist

and as for the rest you don't know how any of these artists feel about hip hop..
