It will be a long time though. Look at it this way. When Mcs like Blu, Fashawn, Jay Electronica, J. Cole, Shad, etc... are considered legends and are in the same place in their careers as nas, red & meth, talib kweli, and mos def are right now. Then those people brought up in that generation of Blu, Fashawn, Jay E., J. Cole, Shad, etc.. will look at this site as if its old

lol check out these http://groups.google.com/group....?hl=en# http://groups.google.com/group....?hl=en# http://groups.google.com/group....?hl=en# ">But I gotta now count the DOC out of the picture for rather obvious >reasons, and still conclude that Ren's "Life Sentence" (assuming he don't >change the name) will put "The Chronic" and "187um Killa" to a shameful >death." I believe the name of the album is now "Shock of the Hour," if I'm reading the ads on BET correctly, and IMHO, "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted" still puts them ALL to shame. http://groups.google.com/group....?hl=en#

Quote (Ratmn) You know, i wonder if there's going to be a day when somebody reads this and says "wow, this is some old shit" If the server will still be up and this forum doesn't have a thread limit and has a fuckton of space, then yeah, in 20 years people will go "wtf are these guys on?" when real hip hop is dead and everyone is listening to some mutated shit to which neorap is considered oldschool. Nah, I'm actually sensing a second breakthrough in hip hop.
:)
